The ambitious Perth couple was the first of the final five teams to host their ultimate instant restaurant. After running around Perth to shop for a three-page list of ingredients for their six-course menu, they lost an hour of their prep time. Their tardiness meant the flavours of Bianca’s pho didn’t have time to develop and a rushed Drasko overcooked the scallops. But instead of “stepping it up a notch”, as judge Pete Evans requested, Bianca and Drasko took three hours to serve their main courses. Both dishes were small and the curd of their first-date inspired lemon tart was served with crumbled pastry after it failed to set. Bianca and Drasko will now have to wait for the other four teams to cook before the team with the lowest score is eliminated. My Kitchen Rules star Bianca Braun recently downplayed rumours that she was romancing fellow contestant Matt Gawthrop. But the brunette beauty certainly looked loved-up as she cuddled her co-star during filming for the series last November. Pictures obtained by Daily Mail Australia show Bianca, 32, and Matt, 27, in an intimate embrace as they taped the top-rated cooking show in the suburbs of Melbourne. Cooking up a love story?
Data scientist Bianca couldn’t wipe the smile off her face as she kept close to Matt while standing on the street. At one point, the reality star wrapped her arms around her cricketer co-star as she gazed adoringly into his eyes. The pair were later seen giggling and touching as fellow contestants and crew moved about in the background.

Being placed in the pressure-cooker situation of competing on a reality TV show is difficult for most people to handle. Often, contestants fall for each other because they are thrust together in similar circumstances. They turn to each other for comfort, for companionship…or because producers nudge them together.

The Melbourne mates showed moments of culinary brilliance but it wasn’t enough to best Green twins Helena and Vikki. Gone were the niceties of last week’s sudden death cook-off, which saw bubbly teacher Carly take time out to help Annie and Jason. Although Harry and Christo did bring the romance into the kitchen, cooking their perfect three-course “date night” dinner. The flirting between Bianca and Harry heated up, with the Tassie girls vocally supporting the Melbourne lads.
Helena and Vikki stuck to their heritage, cooking Greek family favourites inspired by their grandmother. The twins elicited a few laughs from the peanut gallery when they talked about bringing their “two brains” to the challenge.

The university students, from Hobart, got the chop last night after Greek twins Helena and Vikki beat their score in the ultimate instant restaurants round. Their elimination follows Monday’s meltdown in which both girls were reduced to tears and Bianca dropped a plate of food when she fell down some stairs. Gold Coast surfer dads Paul and Blair are currently the team to beat after earning the highest ultimate instant restaurant score. Everyone really respects them and they’ve earned that respect.
Settling back into their university studies, Thalia and Bianca are now selling the patte which earned them a perfect score during their first instant restaurant at Hobart’s Farm Gate Markets. My Kitchen Rules took a walk down memory lane on Tuesday when some of the show’s most memorable contestants returned. But with only two spots left in the semi-finals, and celebrity chef Colin Fassnidge, 45, overseeing the teams in the kitchen, many of the contestants started to crack under pressure. This pressure is at another level,’ admitted Pat,

Well, well, well, I just did not get any buzz out of My Kitchen Rules this year. Maybe it is because I did not watch a lot of shows on Channel 7, not even the tennis, over the summer, so thank goodness, was not being bombarded by the promos the last couple of months. They are surely being built up for a big fall, as per usual on MKR. On the other hand, already liking the Texan cowboy with his hilarious one-liner. Also the blue cheese thing, I can just see the sneaky producers telling the team that they needed something to jazz up their simple crumbles behind-the-scene.
Even after the visit from Manu in the kitchen, they still did not get the big hint from him. Maybe the buzz is starting to come back, LOL.
My Kitchen Rules: Manu not impressed by Bianca’s fussy food choices
The Tasmanian uni students and best friends went from one disaster to the next while hosting their ultimate instant restaurant. The bubbly girls were positive going into their three-hour prep time, but the cracks started to show as their fried ravioli deflated as quickly as they put them on the plate. My thought were why didn’t you make just a normal beautiful pasta, al dente with a little salsa? It could have just been a stand-out dish and I think you could have had a 10 out of The girls started crying as they prepared to serve their mains, seeming to accept defeat with still one more course to go.
DRASKO and Bianca were their own worst enemies on My Kitchen Rules tonight. The ambitious Perth couple was the first of the final five teams.
The fifth season of the Australian competitive cooking competition show My Kitchen Rules premiered on the Seven Network on 27 January During the Instant Restaurant rounds, each team hosts a three-course dinner for judges and fellow teams in their allocated group. They are scored and ranked among their group, with the lowest scoring team being eliminated. For the rapid cook-off, teams had 45 minutes to cook either a chicken or egg dish.
Two teams cooked with chicken and the other two with eggs. In a special twist the two chicken dishes competed against each other and the same for the two egg dishes. The jury and the judges sent the worst chicken and egg team through to the Showdown. In the Showdown, the two teams will cook another dish with chicken or egg using the opposite ingredient from the previous cook-off.
